New entry level practitioners
You're applying to the NDIS Commission through the new entry level pathway and need a supervision agreement with a Proficient-level (or above) practitioner to attach to your application.

You're already practising and want structured clinical supervision to strengthen your skills against the PBS Capability Framework and work towards the next level.
Practitioners joining Align
Practitioners who work with Align Network receive clinical supervision as part of our clinical governance framework.

What's Included
How our supervision works
Proficient-level supervisors
Every Align supervisor is a Proficient-level behaviour support practitioner with at least 2 years' experience as an NDIS behaviour support practitioner.
Individual 1:1 supervision
Regular one-on-one sessions focused on your caseload, your behaviour support plans and your professional development goals. We agree how often we meet in your supervision agreement.
Telehealth, Australia-wide
Supervision is delivered by video, so you can work with an Align supervisor wherever you practise in Australia.
Reconsideration support
Help preparing your supervision agreement and professional development plan, and completion of the supervisor's section of the Commission's endorsement tool when your suitability is reconsidered.
Individual 1:1 supervision is $200 per hour plus GST. We may offer group supervision in certain circumstances; contact us for pricing.
NDIS Commission Requirements
What the Commission asks of new entry level practitioners
- Your application must include a supervision agreement with a Proficient-level (or above) behaviour support practitioner who will supervise your work and/or support you to develop the required capabilities.
- You must also attach a professional development plan covering the seven domains of the PBS Capability Framework at core level.
- The Commission usually reconsiders your suitability within 12 months. It uses your supervision agreement and professional development plan as key reference documents, and seeks information from your supervisor about your skill development, compliance and suitability.
- If you intend to work as a sole trader or as key personnel of a specialist behaviour support provider, the Commission may find you not suitable unless you engage a Proficient-level (or above) practitioner with 2 years' NDIS behaviour support experience to provide clinical supervision and oversight.

Initial conversation
We talk through your goals, your current or planned caseload, and match you with a Proficient-level supervisor.
Supervision agreement
We put a written supervision agreement in place, and help you prepare your professional development plan if you're applying as new entry level.
Regular supervision
Supervision runs at the agreed frequency, with your supervisor available to support the Commission's reconsideration of your suitability.
