Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

1. Our Commitment

Align Network is committed to ensuring that our website and digital services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. As a provider of NDIS services including Positive Behaviour Support and Plan Management, we recognise that accessibility is not just a technical requirement — it is fundamental to the inclusive values at the heart of everything we do.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

2. Accessibility Features

Our website incorporates the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

All pages and interactive elements on our website can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone. This includes navigation menus, forms, buttons, and links. Visible focus indicators are provided so you can see where you are on the page at all times.

Screen Reader Compatibility

Our website is built with semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to ensure compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and voice recognition software. We use meaningful heading structures, descriptive link text, and proper form labels throughout.

Colour Contrast

We have designed our colour palette to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast requirements, ensuring that text is legible against background colours. We do not rely on colour alone to convey information — visual cues such as icons, patterns, and text labels are used alongside colour.

Responsive Design

Our website is fully responsive and adapts to different screen sizes, devices, and orientations. Content is usable on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Alternative Text

All meaningful images on our website include descriptive alternative text (alt text) so that the content and purpose of each image can be understood by people using screen readers or who have images disabled. Decorative images are appropriately marked so they are ignored by assistive technology.

Clear Language

We write our content in plain, clear language and avoid unnecessary jargon. Where technical or clinical terms are used, we provide explanations to ensure the content is understandable to the widest possible audience.

3. Supported Technologies

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:

  • Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver
  • Voice recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking
  • Screen magnification tools including ZoomText
  • Modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with built-in accessibility features
  • Operating system accessibility features on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android

We recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser for the best experience.

4. Known Limitations

While we work continuously to improve accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known limitations include:

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these and can provide information in alternative formats upon request.
  • Third-party content or embedded services (such as maps or external forms) may not meet the same accessibility standards. We select third-party tools with accessibility in mind and advocate for improvements where possible.
  • Some complex interactive elements may have limited compatibility with older versions of assistive technology. We recommend using the latest versions of your preferred tools.

We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility issues. As we update and expand our website, accessibility is considered in every stage of design and development.

5. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Align Network website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. Your feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone.

When reporting an accessibility issue, it is helpful to include:

  • The web address (URL) of the page where you experienced the issue
  • A description of the problem you encountered
  • The device, browser, and assistive technology you were using
  • Your preferred format for receiving information (e.g., large print, audio, plain text)

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days and to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
